AK has evolved into a comprehensive methodology that utilizes muscle testing to assess various aspects of health and pinpoint potential imbalances. We offer specialized appointments based on Applied Kinesiology (AK). With AK, we gain valuable insights to address functional issues and tailor a unique plan to restore your health. (All AK Appointments are exclusively offered by Dr Adriela Jones)
What is Applied Kinesiology?
AK is a specialized diagnostic tool, not a treatment modality. It does not replace other diagnoses but, correctly applied, adds a very useful one.

The essence of kinesiology is the use of manual muscle testing to evaluate the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge. That is, it is a test of functional neurology.

AK has evolved into a comprehensive methodology that utilizes muscle testing to assess various aspects of health and pinpoint potential imbalances.
How does it work?
In Applied Kinesiology, we assess specific muscle groups to test related body parts. A weak muscle indicates an issue in how the associated body part functions or communicates with the brain. This weakened muscle reflects a lack or poor communication from the brain. After identifying the root cause, each body part has a corresponding correction. Following the correction, we retest the initially weak muscle. If the brain's connection to the affected body part improves or the body part functions better, the muscle regains strength. Applied Kinesiology aims to restore optimal communication and function within the body.
Replace standard medical examination?
No, it doesn't replace conventional medical appointments; instead, it works alongside them, contributing an extra layer of insight. AK combines muscle tests with medical history and traditional examinations to provide a more comprehensive understanding of an individual's health.
